Out of all the styles of pants they make I like these the best I own all 3 colors.
If I were to recommend a new color it would be Gray charcoal hetherl gray would be even better.
The only thing I don't like is the hammer loop because it's so close to the side pocket I don't use the hammer Loop but I do use the left side pocket for my big cell phone. So if you uses the left side pocket be careful and look because you might think the Hammer Loop is the pocket so just look first.
These are heavyweight denim
The denim they use in the carpenter jeans are much different than what they're using in the gorilla cut denim jeans an the ink doesn't bleed an fade off.

I love these denim jeans , best pair I ever owned next to Levi's 501, they are 100% denim so they will shrink on you to some it maybe bad but for me it's really good cause it becomes more true to size . Goes great with the light blue stripe half zip ben Davis shirt and my Dickies Chambray shirt , makes you look like the old navy utility uniform lol like ship wrek from GI Joe lol well anyways it's awesome to own , highly recommend it.

Finally found a pair of traditional jeans for men.if you want to use the word retro old school.they both describe these jeans perfectly.only wish the zipper was a bit bigger.big large arthritic hands.
Make the zipper a little hard to operate but it ain’t no deal breaker.overall pleased with the purchase.yeah foreign made. But what ain’t.seems very durable,very comfortable and soft.true to size and length.at least in my opinion.highly recommend will buy again if they hold out over time.right now spot on reasonable prices.

Maybe this is a matter of personal preference, so take my rating with a grain of salt, but the denim on this particular style felt thin and slinky to me. Like I was draping denim curtains around my legs. Really unflattering and they felt like they were just not gonna be up to snuff. The canvas version feels superior, maybe the unwashed denim styles are higher quality as well, but I have not tried them. I ended up exchanging them for another canvas pair.

Stunning deep blue indigo denim, right out of the bag they come heavy on the starch and very rigid, I believe they use a raw denim/ unshrunk denim, and as such they fit much bigger before your first wash. I would recommend to wash and dry on hot to shrink them down to the tag size and soften them considerably. Compared to the OG bens and the gorilla cuts they are slimmer, and more of a mid rise, however still very comfortable and the pockets are well placed and very deep. Definitely recommend them.

Bought a pair of these and their canvas double knee pants, both in 32/30, which has been my size for years, never having any brands 32/30’s not fit…and these gray denim ones, fit great in the waist, but about 3in too long in the legs, the canvas pants were perfect leg length…but about 2in small in the waist. Huh??! The return/exchange process is convoluted and on the customers dime, so I opted to hem these pants myself, and have to take the other pair to a tailor to take out the waist. Love the material and build quality…but yall gotta get your sizing act together, idk if I got a rare double dud, but I did.

The waist line was a little snug. But length was good. Very quality product. Plan to order again
