Disappointed in the size

I love Ben Davis products. I recently ordered some t shirts online and the heavy duty t shirts were sized correctly. The t shirts with designs on the are not. I am a large, all my shirts normally fit. These were too small, I would have needed to order an extra large. I bought two of them and they didn’t fit me. I had other heavy duty shirts in that order and they fit perfectly. I am not sure why this happens but it’s frustrating.
